
BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Bannock County Sheriff's Office is responding to a roof collapse at the Blue Moon Bar and Grill in Lava Hot Springs.
It happened just before 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Sheriff's Office says the original call came from an occupant of the building who was trapped inside. Deputies rescued two people and are searching the building to make sure no one else is inside.
A woman was taken to the Portneuf Medical Center via ground ambulance for minor injuries.
Apartments adjacent to the building have been evacuated. Deputies are still on the scene and will help make sure the area is safe.
The Sheriff's Office is being assisted by the Lava Hot Springs Volunteer Fire Department, Idaho State Police, Bannock County Search and Rescue, and the Pocatello Fire Department.
Bannock County Sheriff's Office is requesting that people avoid the area of 1st Ave East and Elm Street while emergency personnel are on the scene.
